Ford Roofing Ltd has been appointed Principal Contractor for the new Client Aster Group to assist them with Condensation issues in the Roof spaces of a portion of their Housing Stock in Purton- Swindon.

With 44 Dwellings affected we have spec’d the install of in-line Tile and Slate vents to each property to increase airflow within the Cold Roof space and Thermal upgrades by way of topping up the existing Loft insulation to prevent hot/cold bridging to the 1st Floor Ceiling areas.

We have erected 30 Scaffolds in the 4 week period on site and are working our way through the Roof project at a similar pace, so we aim to finish ahead of the programme with minimal disruption to the residents, who we are liaising with daily to keep them abreast of Programme dates and the agreed works to be carried out within their Roof spaces.
