Fords have mobilised on yet another large-scale Roof Refurbishment project for Healthcare provider Barchester.
This one situated in the picturesque village of Chorleywood, Hertfordshire.
This 1500m2 project includes the decommission and recommission of the existing Roof PV arrangement, removal of MK1 Stonewold Tiles and installation of Mcann's thin leading-edge Tile in Slate grey supplied by Elliott's building Merchants. At tender stage the existing light weight metal framed Roof structure had to be considered, so we lent towards the approved Thin leading-edge product to mitigate stress loads on the cartilage of the building. Ford's have also supplied removal of the Asbestos cement Verges, specialist Leadwork to 4No duo pitched bays and all new Roof line works, Fascia, Soffit and Rainwater goods supplied by Northern building Plastics. Yet another project that further resonates our position as the premier Roofing supplier nationally in the healthcare sector.
